Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hai – 30 Years of Dedication to Mechanical Engineering
Meet Mr. Nguyen Sinh Hai, who has dedicated more than three decades to the mechanical engineering industry—not just as a craftsman or a manager, but as someone carrying a grand vision: elevating Vietnamese mechanical engineering to the global stage.
Interviewer: Hello, Mr. Hai. Could you share a bit about your journey of over three decades in the mechanical engineering industry?
Mr. Hai: I entered this field when it was still facing many challenges. My career started as an engineer, and later, I was sent to South Korea for advanced technical training. After returning, I held various key positions in mechanical engineering companies across Vietnam.
Interviewer: Having been involved in many important projects both domestically and internationally, which project are you most proud of?
Mr. Hai: One of the biggest milestones in my career was the Datan 7 project. This project had extremely high technical requirements for welding and post-weld heat treatment. I also took part in projects involving bridge fabrication, conveyor systems, pressure tanks, and more, where we applied advanced technologies to improve efficiency and minimize errors in mechanical processing.
Interviewer: You were sent to South Korea for specialized training. How did that experience impact your career?
Mr. Hai: Studying and working in South Korea was a turning point for me. I was exposed to modern technologies, advanced management systems, and a highly disciplined work ethic. When I returned to Vietnam, I was determined to apply that knowledge to improve product quality and contribute to the growth of our mechanical industry.
Interviewer: What made you decide to join IPC ME?
Mr. Hai: I have always had a dream – that one day, Vietnam would not just be a subcontractor but a general contractor for major projects, standing alongside nations with strong mechanical industries. When I found IPC ME, I saw that same dream in them.
Interviewer: How do you evaluate the path that IPC ME is taking?
Mr. Hai: It is not an easy road, but they are moving forward steadily. IPC ME is not just a fabrication company; they are establishing themselves as a general contractor, taking on large-scale, high-tech projects. What they are building is more than just production – it is a Vietnamese mechanical brand with global aspirations.
Interviewer: With your extensive experience, what advice would you give to young engineers?
Mr. Hai: Never stop learning, improving your skills, and challenging yourself. Mechanical engineering requires not only knowledge but also perseverance, creativity, and responsibility. If you have passion, you can go far in this industry.
Interviewer: Thank you for your inspiring insights. Wishing you continued success in helping IPC ME conquer new heights!
